I thought using 1-800-Dentist to find a recommendation for an in-network provider in my area would be more impartial than just callling and asking my insurance company who the closes dentist I could use was... I set my appointment based on their referral, waited 3 weeks (when I could have made a sooner appointment elsewhere), only to receive a call from the dental office the day before explaining how they don't take my insurance and I would probably be required to pay as out of pocket! I am LIVID and would NEVER consider using 1-800-Dentist again....they get money from referring you and clearly have no cause or concern for where they send you! Couldn't be more frustrated!!!! Do yourself a favor and just call your insurance company and ask for an in-network dentist instead!

Called this company to arrange expedient dental care due to a bad tooth over the memorisl day weekend. The lady took all my medical insurance info and yold me that I should be going to a dentist in Harrisburg Pa and that they should call me about 9 or 9:30am the next morning. Its now after 10:30am the next morning and i haven't heard anything. I called 1800 dentist back and a guy by the name of Leo answered. When i informed him that i had not heard from the dentist office as of yet, he said that he would transfer me to they're office. I they asked if he could tell me the name of the dental office, and he said that the dentist office would have to give me the info. When i asked him why he couldn't at least te me who i'm scheduled to see according to who the lady the night before told mr, the got excited and said that shes not supposed to give any information. I then told him that his company must be a scam company, take insurance info and not actually set up any appointments. Then i told him to cancel any request or appointments and he said "thank you for calling 1800dentist" and hanging up. I'll contact my dental insurance company to infor them of what happen, just in case a claim is filed.

Very limited Dentists to choose from! I was looking for a dentist that did implants.

they gave me 2 options. Both were the same company, but in different cities! After numerous phone calls to get an appt. all I got was recordings!

They only tried to return my calls ONCE and did not leave a message. I tried to call back and got voice mail AGAIN! They still have NOT tried to return my calls! I guess they DON'T need the business!

I have found numerous Dentists CLOSER than the Dentist they referred me to! They have bent over backwards to help me! Phone calls returned, Appts made!

Very limited referrals! Beware!

how desperate must a "professional" outfit be to pay spammers to send their crap ads through spammers. when you call.. they will tell you they are not responsible for 3rd party spammers...... excuse me !!!! you are paying them !!! NEVER do business with anyone who uses these annoying tactics to send their in-wanted crap that fill our in-boxes. word of mouth is your best bet for finding a great dentist... a dentist that does not pay these idiots for a referral. I would love to see these people getting the same crap we do, and how annoying it is. best part is.... adding their name to the "NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH LIST. review anyone that sends spam... we all hate spam !!!

My dentist don't give me no prescription to go take antibiotic for me to go have it and go pickup in pharmicist. When they check my teeth they said that they want to put luxor on my teeth and need to paid 107.46. And thats not even right to go tell me to go paid. Because i have no money and i dont have a job. I tell them i only have medical. And when i tell them that i have medical. Then they say that then you need to take antibiotic. But they didnt give me no prescription for me to pickup antibiotic by the pharmicist. They do really post to give me prescription, but they didnt. So if i have no prescription from the dentist i cannot go pickup any antibiotic by the pharmicist. To take everyday

I wasted an hour of my time and at least $12 in gas going to an appointment over fifteen miles away from my home just to find out the dentist I went to is not in my insurance network. They need to verify this information before sending people out. I will not be using these guys again. It was very disappointing. {{Redacted}}

I dont even the covina dental group and also dental group in covina. I want somewhere else. They are not free for me. They dont collect medical for free. Because when i have gum disease bleeds they want to put luxor on my teeth and want me to paid 107.46 dollars. And i tell them i have no money and i dont even have a job to go paid 107.46. called 1800dentist and was treated well and promised that i would get a call the next day from the dentist and an email from 1800... No call, no email. got a survey as to how i liked the dentist??? replied to the survey and they didn't care. sent an email to 1800... and i guess they must have made their quota because they don't respond = they don't care. you say you require a minimum of 100 words to write a review so i am just filling space because how can you say much about a service or a dentist or both who didn't help? i don't have much more to write about a service that doesn't seem to care. i really hope it isn't the dentist office that doesn't respond and if it is 1800... i hope the dentist doesn't pay for their service.

I think you had better refine your selection process. We used to call your method "buying a pig-in-a-poke".

I recommend that you ask around, talk to friends, inspect facilities, check the county court records, etc...

what did you do before you found the need to obtain a new provider ? And when you find a name, check this website first ...

I was having on a dentist appointment on december 22, 2017. Because they post me a card mail to me. And i did went to my appointment dentist. But when they call me in, to get inside their door, they only check my teeth doing xray, didnt clean my teeth. And they done check my teeth and they were saying this to me. That i need to paid them 2, 335 dollars. And i was asking them why i need to paid 2,335 dollars? And they were saying this to me because i have no insurance. And thats an lie. Because i do really have a medical healthcare insurance. But they dont believe me. And when i get home i call my dentist do have a medical insurance to clean my teeth and ask them can i make an appoint to clean my teeth? And they were saying no we cant help you clean your teeth because your medical is understood. And they made me upset and felt so bad they dont help me clean my teeth. So that means i didnt even clean my teeth for a long time. Because they dont let me go there anymore to go to the city of la puente ca, western dental center no more. And i am try to find a dentist near me by my area for free. Because i do have a medical health care insurance card.

What has happened to 1800Dentists?

I called for a referral in my area to someone experienced, who does implants and ideally with an interest in cosmetic dentistry. She had one dentist all ready for me.

I googled the office and saw it was a regular family dentist, not near me, not particularly experienced, no particular interest in cosmetic work. I politely told the woman on the phone that I preferred someone who had shown at least some interest in the latest technology for crowns and veneers, someone who perhaps was on the Amercan Board of Cosmetic Dentistry. That seemed to enrage her. She replied, "That just means they've studied cosmetic dentistry!" I said, "I know, that's what I want!" She got angrier and angrier and said, no dentist can make a living on cosmetic dentistry (Ironically, she was calling me from a Los Angeles number!).

She said she couldn't help me today, goodbye. Her agenda was clear. She had a small list of people she liked, personally...it was personal...and I'm not sure it had anything to do with dentistry. There are hundreds of good dentists in my area, I just needed help finding one but she had no intention of referring anyone to a dentist who wasn't on her (personal) list.

She was horrible, angry and rude.

A very different company from when i called them a decade ago. Beware.

All those La puente western dental center are all bad people. And i didnt see over there have a lots of people go to la puente western dental center. Theres a lot of people already go quit that dentist, and dont want to go there anymore. Nobody likes la puente western dental center. Everybody quit and dont to to that dentist no more. This place has no bussines. They are all bad people. Right now western dental center always dont even have enough people to go over there in there place to clean teeth anymore.

I went to another Western Dental center to have work done 6 years ago and every single filling that they insisted needed to be replaced has either fallen out, crumbled, and or cracked. I brush and floss daily and am now facing a root canal on one of the teeth they messed up on. Stay away from any Western Dental

Customer servive woman rep was sarcastic and very personal. Couldnt speak to a patient in sensitivity who is in pain and had to explain her job to her. Very nasty. Wouldnt recommend! Do your own google search and make calls yourself. Less stress

Gentle denistry in new hope

we were in and has sental work and dentist said you may need a root canal,did a quick patch up job,call if any problems well we did we=nt in and were told root canal was needed but not until the 12th ggentky denistry caused a problem life threatening and expected to wait over 2 weeks t fix it infecton started ER visit to get meds to help as dentist said take tylenol and advil till they got to the root canal we called gentle denistry Fri today as ER doc said if not better by fri tell them it has to be done they still refused and that doc had the day off. we have friends that were dentist and they got to rheir offices on days off for emergencys. he was seen at another office not waiting for refferal on Monday and this dentistry name was said there and a lawyer has been talked to, state dental ins needs to be better in handling medical emergencys he will get root canal at the better treatment dentist just thought Gentle Dentistry on winnetka and Qubec in New Hope needs to be reported on bad actions

I want to go quit that dentist, western dental center. Because they alwaysvdon't give no help to go deal what we are telling the dentist that I do have a medical heath care insurance.

Try to make them let me clean my teeth.

But they didn't even go try to talk with those dentist doctors for me to clean teeth free. And that really sad
